Hubert Förster has been observing, sketching and painting for several decades. He works with oils, acrylics, watercolours, charcoal, Indian ink and natural products for his artistic expression.

His artistic style is characterised by impressions that have had an influence on him during the many assignments he undertook for an international Swiss / German group of companies, which took him to a variety of countries in and outside Europe. In the course of his professional career, Förster spent

• the 60s in Greece, Italy, Spain and the Balkan countries,
• the 70s in Brazil, the USA and the Bermudas,
• the 80s in Venezuela and on several Caribbean islands, in addition to Mexico and Columbia,
• the 90s in Chile, Argentina and various countries along the Andes
• and since 2000, with his wife Barbara, has been enjoying the creative diversity of life in Europe and on his travels in the United Arab Emirates and India.

Förster’s paintings cover a wide range of subject, they radiate an exuberance and vitality of expression, they demand attention, are powerful and spiritual, enchanting and decorative. He narrates the world he sees with visionary depth, carefully selected motifs and a love of detail.
